Hello, Hello, Hello.
Need a top quality fun activity to wow the players at your golf day? Sergeant Shono Merci is ready to serve.
He even comes to you with a PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE. If he's not fun...he's FREE!
This unique "Mongrel In Blue" Speed Cop will meet and greet each team during their round armed with his speed gun, breathalyser, infringement notices and much, much more.
The players initial reaction when they encounter the Speed Cop is usually total bewilderment. But they always leave laughing and often trying to work out if that guy was a real cop!
Booking players for speeding, drink driving, driving offences, improper use of a golf club, endangering wildlife, even the failure to offer a bribe are just some of his highly irregular antics.
The speed gun enables the Speed Cop to run many ball speed competitions that are always popular with the players. While all want to be tagged "The Gorilla" for having the fastest ball speed no one wants to be "The Weakest Link" for being the slowest. Announcing the results at the presentations will be well received especially if the Speed Cop also manages to record the fastest divot! Unique prizes for the most popular competitions, including one for the highest breathalyzer reading, are available.
The Speed Cop also uses a leader board to list the names and ball speeds of the days fastest. Players are always keen to get their name on this board particularly if it is above the name of someone they know.
For added fun he has a comparison board with the names and ball speeds of over 400 professional golfers; sports players and media personalities that he has "booked" at various golf days. This board attracts interest from even serious golfers. After comparing their ball speed with this board the players often go away elated knowing they are the equal of some of the greats of Australian sport
If you are interested there is a list of the main names you will find on this comparison board further down this page along with some of the golf courses and golf days Sgt.Shono Merci has appeared at.
We are always working on new ideas to make the Speed Cop even more fun for you and the players. Currently under development is a "speed camera" setup. An example is on your left.
If you are worried some players might be offended by his activities there is no need to fear. Sgt Shono Merci always acts professionally and ensures the fun is with, not at the players. He understands the players are your guests and are important to you. He will treat them with the same respect. He also wants to make sure the players really do enjoy themselves at your golf day and thus have them look forward to being invited back to your next golf day.
The Speed Cop can operate "low key" if you don't want players breathalysed or receiving infringement notices.
We are so certain that your guests will enjoy our unique golf day service that we offer a Performance Guarantee. If at the end of the day the general feedback from the players is that the Speed Cop's activities were not fun and were in fact a dud then his services are FREE!
Wondering why we can so confidentally offer this guarantee? With well over 600 golf days experience in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and many other places since 1999 he really does know what he is doing!
